Telangana is going to witness yet another election which is necessitated due to the sudden demise of Congress MLA, Ramreddy Venkatreddy in Paleru. As always after 2014 election, TRS is the front runner in this election too and with Tummala Nageshwar Rao contesting here, the ruling party cadre already started betting on the majority.

On the other side, TDP(TS) is fancying an outside chance here. The party is seriously contemplating to field former MP Nama Nageshwar Rao from Paleru who is the party’s best bet here. Nama and Tummala do not see an eye to eye and due to the clash, TDP lost very badly in the last elections. Both Nama and Tummala lost.
So if Nama contests Paleru, the election will turn prestigious. It will be an uphill task for Nama to take on Tummala and TRS but there is no other way out for TDP (TS). Now the real question is will Nama agree to contest in such tough election. The voting for Paleru by-election will take place on May 16th.
