Earlier the court asked both the state governments to pay their salaries in Population Ratio. Andhra Pradesh is paying them 58.32% of their salaries while the rest is being paid by Telangana Government. After the final verdict, the court instructed Telangana government to pay back the money paid by Andhra Pradesh until now back to the state.
The big question is if the Telangana state government will adhere to the High Court’s Order and pay back the money. It is known that Telangana Government is not paying for the power it used from Andhra Pradesh in one name or other.
