The services in Metro Rail Corridor-1 were disrupted due to Technical issues. In fact, the trains should run from LB Nagar to Miyapur but are now running only till Moosapet now. The Overhead Electric Lines got snapped between Moosapet and Balanagar. Five Metro Stations – Miyapur, Balanagar, JNTU, KPHB, and Kukatpally were closed temporarily.

The Power lines are being restored on a war-footing. Many passengers are facing huge hardships due to the services disruption. All the Metro seasons are extremely crowded due to festival season. Hyderabad Metro Rail Project authorities say this is a routine issue and there is nothing serious.
Hyderabad Metro Rail services between Ameerpet to LB Nagar became operational recently. This is a 16-km stretch with 16 stations. With this, the entire 29-km of Corridor 1 from Miyapur to LB Nagar became operational. The Ameerpet to Hi-Tec city line will be opened for public from December this year while services between Jubilee Bus Station and MGBS will be launched by mid-2019
