Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is dolling out promises one after the other. After promising almost the moon for the people to come to power, Jagan now announced to extend Aarogya Sri for every treatment which crosses 1000 Rupees expense.

This promise alone will run into several 10s of 1000 Crores which the state can not obviously afford. But then the Opposition Leader is eager to come to power at any cost and is not hesitating to make any promise for that.
Aarogya Sri is the notable scheme introduced by Late YSR. Even though there are allegations of massive corruption in favour of Private hospitals while making government hospitals totally inept, some people have connected with it. And now Jagan is keen on milking that sentiment.
