Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Sister, YS Sharmila who went into the Political Oblivion after the 2014 election defeat came before the media the last week all of sudden. She complained to Telangana Cyber Crime Police on an old case and made a scathing attack on Chandrababu Naidu alleging that he is behind tarnishing her image.
This came as a surprise to everyone because the propaganda about Sharmila exists for a very long time and the sudden complaint and blame game made little sense. But then, sources say that there is much more than what the eye meets. Buzz is that Jagan is planning to field Sharmila in the upcoming Parliament Elections.
She may be in the fray from Vishakapatnam or Anantapur. She can not just come to the scene out of nowhere and contest in the elections. So, she was intelligently brought out using an old issue, we are told. Jagan’s mother and YSR Congress Founder President, YS Vijayamma contested from Vishakapatnam Parliament in 2014 elections.
But she lost in the hands of a BJP candidate, Haribabu which came as a big shock for the Opposition Party. It has to be seen if Sharmila will contest from such a tricky seat. Moreover, Anantapur district is the bastion of TDP and she may have to contest against the Powerful JC family there. So, it is not an easy seat either.
