Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s wife Vijayamma has made it clear that in the ongoing family fight for property, she is dealing with it independently. Vijayamma said that she was not a benami of YS Sharmila.
She maintains that after Jaganmohan Reddy and Bharthi Reddy gave gift deed to Vijayamma, she says she bought shares from Classic Realty Private Limited.
Vijayamma said the same to national body Law Appellate Tribunal Chennai bench. Last year, Jagan, Bharthi and Classic Realty approached the Law Appellate Tribunal questioning the transfer of shares by Saraswati Power to Vijayamma. The Hyderabad Bench gave a ruling to give back the shares to Jagan and Bharti.
But the family drama did not end there. Now Vijayamma and Saraswati Power Limited filed appeals in the Law Appellate Tribunal, Chennai Bench, objecting to the ruling passed by the Hyderabad Bench.
To cut the long story short, Vijayamma is now claiming that all shares of Saraswati Power should go to her daughter YS Sharmila. Vijayamma’s argument is that she wants to follow her late husband’s will. Vijayamma said that all shares are under her control and Jagan and Bharthi are simply scheming to usurp the shares.
Whenever Vijayamma meets Jagan, she kisses him and appears quite affectionate. But when it comes to money matters, Vijayamma is no puppet in the hands of her son. She has independent thoughts and she is clear that Saraswati Power has to go to her daughter.
The next hearing in the Tribunal is slotted for April 29. Now it remains to be seen what Jagan gets at the end as Vijayamma made it clear that she is on the side of her daughter Sharmila.
