YSR Congress seem to be stunned with Congress trying to become active in Andhra Pradesh using Special Status Sentiment. Suddenly media is buzzing with the Private Member Bill put up by Rajya Sabha MP, KVP Rama Chandra Rao. YSR Congress is not in a mood of taking chances and sprung into the action almost immediately.

Jagan Mohan Reddy reportedly instructed his party MPs to put up a Private Member Bill on Special Status in Lok Sabha as well to give an impression to the people that YSR Congress is also fighting on the issue. However this seem to be a hollow attempt as BJP has the absolute majority in the lower house and the bill will be of no use.
The Bill has remote chances to be passed in Rajya Sabha where Congress and other regional parties have the majority. Placing the bill in Lok Sabha is just like putting it for namesake. But then Jagan would hope that people would not see through it.
