During the arrival of the body of B.S. Rao, the Head of Chaitanya Educational Institutions, in his hometown, several celebrities, political leaders, and heads of educational institutions paid their respects. Interestingly, YSRCP MP Lau Srikrishna Devarayalu and Nara Lokesh, who is associated with the TDP, were also present at the scene.
A notable incident occurred when the YSRCP MP was leaving after paying respects, and Nara Lokesh approached from the opposite direction.
Despite their political differences, the young MP stopped, pushed through the crowd, and shook hands with Nara Lokesh.
This event gained attention, especially as there were reported clashes between one or two MLAs from the Narasaraopet Parliament. These clashes were allegedly related to strong political differences with Health Minister Rajini, whose followers prevented the MP from entering the Chilakaluripet segment.
There have been ongoing reports for some time that MP Lau has had secret meetings with TDP leader Chandra Babu Naidu and is considering joining the TDP. Last year, photographs of the MP alongside TDP MPs sparked a significant debate.
In response to these reports, both the MP and Nara Lokesh clarified that they were untrue. However, the recent handshake between MP Lau and Nara Lokesh has once again ignited speculation and become a hot topic in Andhra Pradesh politics.
