A small road mistake should never lead to a loss of life. But in Bengaluru, a minor accident turned deadly due to uncontrolled anger and road rage.
On the night of 25 October, two friends, Darshan and Varun, were riding a bike when it accidentally brushed the mirror of a passing car. The couple inside the car got angry and argued with them on the spot.
Instead of moving on, the couple reportedly followed the bike for around two kilometres. Then, the car hit the bike from behind and sped away. Darshan died on the spot, and Varun suffered serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
The incident is a shocking reminder of how dangerous road rage can be. A moment of anger can take an innocent life and destroy families. Staying calm and patient on the road is always the wiser choice, as one moment of restraint can save lives.
