4 Million Indians Secretly Using Affair Dating Apps

Extramarital Dating App Users In India

More than 4 million people in India are reportedly using an extramarital dating app designed for married individuals seeking relationships outside marriage. Around 65 percent of users are men, while about 35 percent are women on these platforms.

Major cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune record the highest number of users. However, the trend is slowly spreading to smaller towns as well. Reports indicate that many users spend nearly 60 to 90 minutes daily on such apps.

The rising use of these platforms has sparked debate about changing relationship patterns. Many people feel that romance and excitement in marriage may fade over time. Busy work schedules and poor communication can also create emotional distance between partners.

Some individuals seek attention, validation or new experiences outside marriage. Attraction towards someone else or financial factors may also influence such decisions. These situations sometimes lead to extramarital relationships through online platforms.

Health experts warn that risky behaviour may increase the danger of diseases such as HIV or AIDS. In states like Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Tamil Nadu, HIV cases have remained a concern in recent years.

Medical professionals say multiple sexual partners can increase the risk of infection. Extramarital affairs may also contribute to unsafe practices if proper precautions are ignored. Awareness and responsible behaviour remain important for personal and public health.

For this reason, loyalty in a relationship is important for trust, health and family stability. Before making such choices, people should consider the long term impact. These decisions can deeply affect partners, children and loved ones.
