Consequently, the Madras High Court has ordered a complete holiday for everyone and advised them to remain in their homes. This cyclonic storm has brought heavy rain, leading to a flood-like situation.

In one such video, there is a view from an apartment showing a flood-like situation in the streets. Cars parked on the roadside appear as though they might slide away due to the force of the flowing water.
The Meteorological Survey of Chennai has stated that the rain will continue in parts of Chennai, Kancheepuram, and Tiruvallur. People are urged to take necessary precautions, and we must keep those stuck in this destructive environment in our prayers.
