A serious accident took place in Lucknow’s Indira Nagar area when a speeding bike crashed into a car, throwing the rider into the air. The incident, which happened on February 12, was captured on CCTV and has been widely shared on social media.
The footage shows a Swift car turning onto the main road just as a high-speed bike approaches from the opposite direction. Due to the bike’s speed, the rider couldn’t stop in time and collided directly with the car. The impact sent him flying several feet away.

Local police confirmed that the bike rider sustained injuries but has since been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home. Officials from Indira Nagar Police Station stated that no formal complaint has been filed regarding the accident.

Chowki in-charge Ashish Pandey, who reviewed the CCTV footage, mentioned that the car wasn’t moving at a high speed. However, the bike, driven by Abhijeet Srivastava, was traveling too fast, leading to the crash. He also noted that Abhijeet works as a Rapido driver.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as terrifying, with people rushing to help the injured biker immediately after the crash. The accident resulted in damage to both the bike and the car.
