In a tragic and impulsive act, the wife allegedly forced her young son to consume pesticide and then drank it herself. Family members and neighbours rushed them to a hospital. Doctors said the boy is in critical condition, while the wife remains under close observation.
Police have registered a case and begun investigating. Initial reports suggest frequent quarrels and the wife’s obsession with television may have contributed to the drastic action.
