A major controversy has erupted in Nellore involving a senior police officer and Lady Don Aruna. Reports suggest that the Additional SP maintained a close relationship with her, raising serious concerns about professional integrity.
Phone recordings have allegedly revealed intimate conversations between the officer and Aruna. Phrases like “I love you” shocked many, as such behaviour is considered highly inappropriate for a senior law enforcer.
The issue deepened when reports claimed the officer and Aruna travelled to Goa together for four days. The trip has been criticised as a grave breach of duty and responsibility.
Soon after, rowdy-sheeter Srikanth, who is serving a life sentence in a murder case, was released on parole. His past association with Aruna has fuelled speculation about possible influence in the decision.
Critics argue that the incident has damaged the image of the police. Officers are expected to avoid ties with those linked to criminal backgrounds, not form personal relationships with them.
