Fashion does not always have to make sense because it is unique to each individual. We’re guessing you experienced countless WTF moments when going through Instagram after seeing an influencer show off some unusual apparel.
Several well-known fashion labels have already made news for advertising ‘strange’ goods on their websites. Zara has stolen the show this time. Sheel Mohnot, a Twitter user, uploaded a screenshot of a piece of clothing he saw on the Zara website.
On one side of the white garment was some strange Hindi needlework. While one section said ‘Dilli Ki Dhoop Dilli,’ the other said chawal. Okay, OK. It’s incomprehensible.
The post has received over 219k views and several replies. The incomprehensible Hindi embroidery stunned the Indian Twitter community. While some attempted to make sense of it, others merely commented on how Western design has used Indian languages as ‘strange symbols’ on clothing.
Some, on the other hand, found the design fascinating and wanted to buy the shirt. The one-of-a-kind Zara shirt costs $49.90 (roughly Rs. 4,053) and is available on the Internet.
Wtf is this @ZARA
