Former all-rounder and captain of the Pakistan cricket team Shahid Afridi, confirmed in X that he isn’t supporting Israel.
A picture of Shahid Afridi with an Israeli group is going viral on social media, on which a Zionist group claimed that he supported their protest.
However, Shahid Afridi has now clarified this matter.
He came on X ( used to be Twitter) and explained that it was just a selfie, not any kind of support goes towards that particular set of protest, it doesn’t indicate his support for any situation where “human lives are at stake.”
He said that seeing innocent lives in Palestine suffering, dying, the bombarding is truly heartbreaking. So, any picture shared in Manchester does not represent his support for any situation where human lives are at risk.
He also said that a few moments after the photo was taken they uploaded it as a form of zionist support.
Which is misleading and unbelievable, he also requested people not to believe in whatever they see online.
