Man In Gujarat Finds Rat In Sambhar

Recently, there have been a number of complaints all across the nation regarding the quality of food. Only in the month of June have we seen cases of people finding dead frogs, centipedes, and a whole human finger in their food products. Adding on to this “trend,” a customer in Amdavad found a dead rat in the Sambhar that he ordered alongside his dosa at Devi Dosa Restaurant. The municipal corporation of Amdavad was informed. The owner of the place has received the notice regarding the incident.

Bhavin Joshi, Food Safety Officer from Amdavad Municipal Corporation, promptly notified the media in an interview, stating, “I appeal to all the business operators of Ahmedabad Corporation to be very careful with the food they serve to the customers so that such incidents can be avoided.”

However, the video is already viral on the internet, and people are already in shock. The Indian food industry is now facing a crisis of faith. The constant occurrence of food containing foreign and often hazardous substances in packaged and restaurant food is making it more and more severe. In Gujarat, only a dead frog was found in a packet of wafers in Jamnagar, and that too just a day ago. People are constantly worried, as evident from their comments under the video. While someone wrote about how the quality of food vendors is constantly declining, another displayed concern about the current state of eateries in the country.
