Venus Wang’s life took an unexpected turn after her divorce, but she turned it into an opportunity for growth. From being a stay-at-home mother with limited savings, she rebuilt her career in artificial intelligence and now earns over $1 million (₹8.7 crore) per year.

Originally from China, Wang moved to the U.S. in 2013 and secured a six-figure job as a sourcing manager in the tech industry. However, she left her job to support her husband’s career and focus on raising their daughter.

These career moves paid off, as her income grew from $300,000 to $970,000 within three years. Today, she works in the AI division of a major tech company, earning $1 million per year.

Despite her high income, Wang remains financially disciplined. She rents a two-bedroom apartment instead of buying property and prioritizes investments. She shops secondhand, resells items, and avoids luxury spending, choosing long-term financial security over extravagant purchases.
