Village Horror Teen Killed In Brutal Daylight Attack

Damoh village murder shocks Madhya Pradesh

Incidents of extreme violence often leave communities shocked, especially when they happen in ordinary places. When victims and attackers have no known connection, such crimes raise deeper concerns about safety. They also trigger discussions about criminal history and mental health monitoring.

A disturbing case was recently reported from Samanna village in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh district. According to police and eyewitness accounts, a 16 year old boy named Bharat Vishwakarma was killed in a sudden attack while walking to his sister’s home for Bhai Dooj.

Police say the accused, Gudda Patel, allegedly attacked the boy from behind. He reportedly struck Bharat Vishwakarma with a rod and then hit him repeatedly with a hammer. The teenager died at the scene before anyone could intervene.

Eyewitnesses claimed the behaviour of the accused shocked the entire village. Some villagers alleged that after the attack, Patel acted in a disturbing manner. Reports claimed he attempted to drink blood from the victim’s head and tried to eat flesh before fleeing.

Local residents quickly gathered and surrounded the accused. Villagers managed to catch him before he could escape the area. According to reports, Gudda Patel had earlier returned to the village after serving jail time for the murder of his wife.

Police officials stated that there was no known dispute between the victim and the accused. This has raised suspicions that the attack may have been sudden and unprovoked. Authorities are continuing their investigation to understand the motive.

Officials also said the accused will undergo a medical examination. The evaluation will help determine his mental condition and whether psychological factors played a role in the crime.

The incident has sparked wider debate about monitoring individuals with violent criminal histories after their release. Many people believe stronger supervision and mental health evaluation may help prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
