
One of the toughest exams of India, some people say after UPSC this is the second hardest exam to crack, and that is NEET. But this year students were scammed with the results, lesser deserving candidates got much more marks where the deserving candidates got lesser marks.
Students got 718, 719 in the exam and how? Because of the “Grace Marking”.

The whole internet is flooded with news regarding this scam, students came out to the light with the issues they have been facing with this scam.
An examination which will decide the future doctors, an exam which holds the capability of making or breaking one’s future was responsible for ruining a huge amount of students’ lives until, the Supreme Court decided to withdraw the grace marking given to 1563 students.

Yes ! Finally the honourable Supreme Court released the verdict that on the result which was out on June 4th the 1,563 students who were rewarded with grace marks, those marks will be withdrawn and students will soon get to know their real score.
Furthermore, on June 23rd, a re-test will take place, where these students can sit again.

The compensatory marks were awarded to these candidates based on the recommendation of a committee constituted by the National Testing Agency, the body which holds the NEET.
But, with the rising revolts of students the committee has decided to remove the grace marks, also it has also been declared that if the affected students do not wish to appear in for the re examination the main result will have their actual marks without the grace marking.
