Violent Clash Erupts Restaurant FamilyA shocking incident of violence unfolded at a mall in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, where members of a family clashed with restaurant staff, including women. The incident, which took place at ‘Float by Duty-Free’ in Spectrum Mall, was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the clash ensued after a heated argument between the two parties over a 10 percent service charge levied on the customers’ bill. One of the customers requested the removal of the charge, leading to a dispute. The situation escalated from a conversation with a waiter to a confrontation between the manager and a female customer, eventually turning into a physical altercation involving both men.

The videos of the brawl prompted swift action, resulting in the arrest of five individuals, including three restaurant employees and two customers. The police filed FIRs against both sides on charges of rioting and assault.

In a Twitter post, a user named Aryan Vashisth claimed to be a victim of the incident, stating that his mother, aunt, sister, and brothers were assaulted during the clash. He also mentioned that his sister’s phone was thrown and his mother was slapped.

The restaurant, ‘Float by Duty-Free,’ stated that the customers’ bill amounted to Rs 11,209, including taxes and a service charge of Rs 970, which remained unpaid due to the brawl. Additionally, the restaurant’s property was damaged, and some staff members sustained injuries.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Harish Chander, confirmed that the fight occurred over the payment of the service charge and assured that the individuals involved in the violence would be apprehended.
