A video is going viral on social media showcasing a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) scolding a policeman for sleeping in an AC coach without a ticket. The clip, shared on Reddit, shows the TTE firmly questioning the cop, who was in uniform.
The TTE blatantly tells him, “You don’t even have a general coach ticket, yet you are sleeping in AC. Do you think all empty seats are for uniformed officers? Get up and leave.” The visibly embarassed policeman quietly gets up and exits the coach.

Social media users praised the TTE for doing his job fearlessly. Many supported stricter checks to stop unauthorized travel. Now that, after everyone has witnessed the havoc of unreserved passengers hogging the coaches, it only makes sense to be strict to everyone.
However, there are some, who questioned why the cop was not fined, as regular passengers face penalties for the same offense.

This rare instance of accountability has made the TTE into a hero. As he went about enforcing rules equally, regardless of a person’s position.
