An Indian Manager has been going viral on the internet due to his bizarre method of micromanaging his employees’ break time throughout the day while asking for detailed breakdowns on the same.
The whole ordeal was uploaded by an employee on Reddit, after which it quickly went viral. The caption read, “Boss thrashed co-worker for taking 25 minutes extra break.”

The manager reportedly has a strict 60-minute break time per day rule in place, with zero tolerance for those who break it.
The chats also showed him scolding an employee for using 25 minutes more than the daily allowance for break time.

Clarifying himself in the chat, the manager said, “When you guys take a break for 10–15 minutes, you need to take the next break, keeping in mind that the total is 60 minutes minus the previous break…
The total break in a day should not exceed the 60-minute limit. Hope that’s okay.”

Social media has been exploding with comments ever since this incident came to light.
One user said, “Does this manager also calculate how many seconds employees breathe during work? Absolute madness!”
Another commented, “Dear Manager, we will now request permission before yawning at our desks. Hope that’s okay!”
Corporations should learn to cope with the fact that their employees are also human beings and are entitled to basic human dignity like any other citizen of the country.
Treating them like animals will only prove to be detrimental to the company in the long run instead of the management’s belief of an increase in productivity.
