Graeme Swann England India Test Series

Former English Cricketer Graeme Swann has talked about India’s upcoming tour of England, and it’s not something that is pleasing the Indian public.

Speaking his heart out, the former cricketer acknowledged England’s disastrous performances during their last couple of tours in India.

He said that England will have to dominate in this upcoming test series against India by defeating the latter 4-1 or at least 3-2, owing to the absence of Kohli and Rohit in the team.

So far so good right? Well, he then went on to say that England winning this test series would mean ‘The perfect warm-up for the ashes’.

This did not sit well with the Indian audience, who slammed him for treating this prestigious bilateral as some practice game the English need to sharpen their tools for the big day versus the Aussies.

Although the statement caused significant outrage, it was not totally unexpected. After all, the superiority complex in England never kind of dies down, even though their days are long gone.

With anticipations at an all-time high, Indian fans are now hoping that their team will give the English a befitting reply as they step onto the field on June 20th, 2025.
