AR Murugadoss has sparked debate by blaming Salman Khan for the failure of Sikandar. The director is now gearing up for the release of Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharasi, which is set for a worldwide theatrical release on September 5.
As part of promotions, Murugadoss is appearing on YouTube channels. In one interview, he revealed that due to a threat to Salman Khan during Sikandar’s shoot, they were unable to film in real locations. Most of the sequences were shot on green screens with CGI adjustments.
He further added that Salman Khan often arrived late on set, which became another reason for the film’s downfall. These comments quickly went viral on social media, drawing strong reactions from fans and critics alike.
Many netizens accused Murugadoss of shifting the blame instead of owning his mistakes. They questioned whether the film would have succeeded if it had relied less on CGI and more on a solid script. Some also advised him to focus on storytelling rather than pointing fingers.
Now, all eyes are on Madharasi. With Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, the film’s release on September 5 will decide whether AR Murugadoss can silence his critics and stage a strong comeback.
