Social media has been filled with debates and attacks against Dhanush after a public allegation surfaced. Serial actress Manya Anand shared a casting couch claim in a YouTube interview. She linked it to a person who introduced himself as the actor’s manager, Sreyas.
In the interview, Manya Anand explained that she received repeated calls from someone claiming to be Dhanush’s manager. He pushed her for an adjustment to act with Dhanush in a film. She described his behaviour as persistent and disturbing.
She later clarified that the caller was not Dhanush’s real manager Sreyas. She said he was a fake person misusing the name. Some haters edited her words and spread false claims against Dhanush, attempting to damage his reputation.
Dhanush’s fans reacted strongly and slammed those circulating edited clips. They argued that such attacks always appear before a Dhanush film releases. They saw this as another attempt to pull him down before Tere Ishk Mein reaches theatres.
Fans also shared screenshots of an older post from the real manager Sreyas. In that post he warned that unknown people were using his name for fake casting calls. He made it clear that he was not involved in any such activity.
This issue created major noise on social media. Kollywood insiders said Dhanush’s team has begun an investigation to identify the fake person who targeted the actress. They traced the calls to someone from Kerala and filed a formal complaint.
The actress later posted a story on Instagram. She stated that the viral clip was edited. She said she had clearly mentioned in the interview that the caller might be a fake person pretending to be Sreyas.
The controversy has now grown into a major debate in Kollywood. It continues to dominate social media conversations with people sharing strong reactions. The discussion shows no signs of slowing down.
