The makers of Idupu Kayitham have released the first single, Srilatha. The song is filled with romance, energetic moments, and Telangana flavour, making it an easy listen from the first watch. The song also works well visually.
The backdrop of Tank Bund and Secretariat gives it a distinct identity, while Suresh Bobbili’s appearance composing the tune on location adds to the presentation. The little girls dancing throughout the lyrical video make it more memorable.
Alaraju’s catchy lyrics blend romance with Telangana dialect, and the vocals by Shankar Babu, Mohana Bhogaraju, Seelam Punnamma, and Bollepogula Subhadra give the song a folk-meets-modern feel.
Priyadarshi and Naga Durga look like a good on-screen pair. Their chemistry, playful interactions, and dance moves make Srilatha a light romantic melody. Vijay Polaki’s choreography is simple yet effective.
Produced by Sukumar Writings and Bunny Vas Works, this Telangana-based family entertainer is directed by Vamsi Reddy Dondapati. Idupu Kayitham is all set for a December release.
