According to reports, Dhanush is expected to begin shooting Tamizharasan Pachamuthu’s commercial entertainer after completing Om. At the same time, speculation suggests that the director has already started pre-production work for the project.
Reports also claim that Tamizharasan Pachamuthu initially planned to cast Sanjana, who played the female lead in his previous film Lubber Pandhu. However, social media discussions suggest that Dhanush has recommended casting Mamitha Baiju instead. There is no official confirmation regarding the casting.
The speculation has sparked mixed reactions on social media. Some users believe Sanjana would have received a major career opportunity if she had been cast in the film. They feel replacing her with Mamitha Baiju would deny her an important breakthrough.
On the other hand, many Dhanush fans have defended the reported decision. They argue that the lead actor has every right to share his opinion on casting. They also believe Mamitha Baiju’s growing popularity could help the film reach a wider audience and strengthen its box office prospects.
