Even before the release of these films, Suriya has moved on to his next project. His 47th film, tentatively titled Suriya 47, is being directed by Jithu Madhavan.
Jithu Madhavan is known for his film Aavesham, which starred Fahadh Faasil. His association with Suriya has generated strong interest among fans.
Since Jithu Madhavan is a Malayalam director and Naslen plays a key role, some Kollywood audiences speculated that Suriya 47 might be treated as a Malayalam project.
Addressing these doubts, Jithu Madhavan recently clarified during a press interaction that Suriya 47 is a proper Tamil commercial film. He also confirmed that shooting is progressing at a fast pace.
This clarification has put an end to speculation surrounding the film’s language and positioning. Fans have welcomed the update with renewed optimism.
