Delta Air Lines has announced a partnership with YouTube to upgrade your in-flight entertainment. The deal, revealed at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, brings ad-free YouTube videos, podcasts, and music on Delta flights with Sync WiFi.
Stream on your device or seatback screen
You can now stream directly to your phone, tablet, or laptop. If you prefer, you can enjoy the same ad-free content through Delta’s seatback screens, which are already a highlight of its service.
Extra perks for SkyMiles members
As a SkyMiles member, you will get a free 14-day YouTube Premium preview after your flight. No payment details are needed. This adds to Delta’s strong lineup of seatback entertainment, with more than 165,000 screens across 930 aircraft.
YouTube music onboard
The partnership also covers boarding music, powered by YouTube Music. This change promises a refreshing audio experience, giving you more reasons to enjoy the journey from take-off itself.
Powered by Delta Sync
Delta Sync, the airline’s cloud-based entertainment platform, supports this integration. It offers 4K HDR QLED displays, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 96-terabyte cloud system for smooth access.
Strong connectivity for streaming
Hughes Fusion connectivity powers streaming across the fleet. With YouTube now on board, Delta strengthens its reputation as an innovator in passenger entertainment.
