Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be in Delhi tomorrow to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting assumes significance as Jagan met Home Minister Amit Shah only a few days ago. There are speculations in the media that the BJP High Command is keen on taking YSR Congress into NDA.
Buzz is that the BJP High Command offered One Cabinet Berth and Two MoS posts to the party. This is an offer better than what TDP and Shiv Sena previously got when they are in NDA. It has to be seen if YSR Congress will take this risk offending its Minority Votebank.
But such a move will help the AP CM from impending court cases over disproportionate assets. Also, the state government needs the support of the Central Government as it is staring at a huge financial crisis and at the same time needs huge funds for various welfare schemes it is mooting.
This if happens will be a huge gamechanger in Andhra Pradesh Politics. The next move of Janasena will be interesting to watch.
