2 Andhra NRI Students Die in Car Accident

A heartbreaking tragedy has hit the Indian community in Ireland. The lives of two young students from Andhra were cut short in a car crash in Carlow.

Bhargav Chitturi and Suresh Cherukuri were involved in a car accident on the N80 in Leagh, Rathoe, at the same spot where three people died a year ago. According to the local media, their black Audi veered into the wrong lane and crashed into a tree.

Two other Indian-origin passengers, also in their 20s, are believed to be seriously injured and are admitted to a hospital. 

The friends of the deceased have started a fundraiser to support the grieving families and help return their mortal remains back home. Amidst such tragic news, people were left questioning why there were no actions from the government to do the same.

Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister, finally reacted to the news via social media and has assured that he will personally contact the concerned authorities and assist with the return of the bodies.

Meanwhile, the Indian community is showing their support to the families through fund raising platforms.
