If you are a graduate from India who wants to apply for a UK visa then you’re going to need luck on your side as well. Under the India Young Professionals scheme, the UK government is offering 3000 visas to Indians through a ballot system. The best part about this scheme is that you can participate in the ballot free of cost.
The government is giving a two day time window for applicants to participate in the ballot. The ballot will open at 2:30 PM IST on 20th February and close on 22nd February at 2:30 PM. The minimum educational qualification for entering the ballot is a graduate degree.
After entering all the necessary details, entries will be locked in. The system would then randomly pick winners from the ballot. They would be contacted within two weeks and they will be provided 90 days to apply for a visa online.
There will be another similar ballot in July as well. It is a good opportunity for graduates to live in the United Kingdom for a period of two years and explore better opportunities.
