As Canada Fills, Indian Colleges Remain Vacant

Indian Colleges

With more and more Indians looking to pursue their degree from a foreign University, Indian institutions in some states are witnessing a decrease in total number of students enrolled which is contrary to the national trend. The state of Punjab has seen a decline in university students studying in the state in the last 5 years.

Punjab is one of the states where the craze for a foreign degree is much higher than other states. Most of the students from Punjab aim to get into universities in Canada and Australia. According to a report, 40 percent of the students from Punjab going abroad chose Canada.
