Dangerous Gun Used In Prague Shooting!

The mass shooting in Prague has shocked the whole of Europe and the world. Incidents of mass shooting are rare outside the United States where gun culture has made such occurrences a normal affair. The shooting in Prague led to the death of at least 14 people as per the data revealed by the Internal Minister. New information has surfaced about the type of weapon used by the suspect for shooting.

The suspect used a long range assault rifle which had a scope and a bipod. The fully automatic assault rifle had a 5.46×45 mm caliber. The optical scope on the weapon allowed him to take aim at people from a far range. It is a matter of concern how he got possession of such a weapon.

The suspect took shots from the building of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. He opened fire on the fourth floor of the university building in the Faculty of Philosophy. Many students had to crawl out on the ledges to save themselves from the fire but unfortunately a student fell down.

It is believed that he owned multiple weapons. The debate around gun laws has started in the Czech Republic after the tragic shooting incident in Downtown Prague.
