USCIS processing and delivery delays are becoming a major concern for applicants waiting for Employment Authorization Documents. Many foreign workers depend on the physical EAD card to begin employment. Delays are creating stress and uncertainty.
One foreign worker said their EAD never arrived despite approval. The case status showed “Card Was Produced” more than 30 days ago. The applicant had filed Form I-765 using premium processing.
Premium processing itself has recently seen delays. Several F-1 visa applicants say OPT applications are taking longer than the expected two to four weeks. In this case, the issue appears linked to delivery.
The online case status changed to “Card Was Produced,” but no tracking number was provided. The worker filed a non-delivery inquiry through USCIS. However, no response was received even after the update date passed.
The situation became more confusing after the worker contacted the USCIS helpline. They were told the card had already been delivered. The applicant says they checked their mailbox daily without receiving any mail.
Without the physical EAD card, employers often hesitate to hire F-1, H-4, and Green card holders. The worker says the document is urgently needed. They are also reluctant to pay premium processing fees again.
The applicant believes the issue is due to a failed delivery attempt. Both USCIS and the postal service may be involved. Meanwhile, the delay continues to affect the worker’s employment plans.
