
Indians like other foreign nationals have to abide by the new guidelines given out by the White House.
In a media address, the White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt read out the new guidelines applicable for all foreign nationals. The Secretary started off by reminding that the deadline for alien registration under the Alien Registration Act was today.

All foreign nationals living in the United States for more than 30 days must register. She further said that failure to comply with this is a crime, punishable by a fine, imprisonment or both.
As President Trump has said if you leave now or self deport, you may have the opportunity to come back at a later date, legally. If not, you will be fined, arrested and deported, never to return to our country again, she said.

The Trump administration will continue to administer our nation’s laws. We will not pick and choose which laws. We must know who is in our country for the safety and security of our homeland and all American citizens, the Secretary said.
The directive came after a green light by a federal judge. The rule dating back to the time of World War II, has sparked legal challenges and widespread concern among immigrants across the US.
