But there’s one such bureaucrat who is making a name for himself in ways that he won’t like. The officials in the White House have accused Rahul Gupta of creating a ‘toxic’ environment in the White House.
Rahul Gupta is a director at the White House and is commonly referred to as drug czar in the Biden administration. He has been assigned the task of dealing with the opioid epidemic in the United States. He had earlier been praised for his qualifications.
Some of the officials in his department have accused Gupta of creating a toxic work environment in the workplace. They also said that he focuses more on creating a positive public image of himself rather than fulfilling duties.
At least 8 top officials have resigned in recent months under his tenure. Around 75 total officials have left the department in the same time. These are mere allegations so far and nothing has been proved against Gupta. It looks like a matter of concern and there needs to be a proper inquiry into the matter.
