It’s pertinent to note that law enforcement suspects that there may be additional victims who have yet to come forward. This disconcerting incident aligns with a larger pattern of sexual assault cases involving professionals in the region.

In August, a 55-year-old man named Ajay Gupta was arrested in Toronto for allegedly assaulting two women during job interviews by manipulating their trust during meditation instructions.

Furthermore, in June, Gurpartap Singh Walia and his son Sumrit Walia were arrested and charged in Calgary for sexually assaulting and exploiting multiple teenage girls over an extended period.

Their methods involved providing girls, who were not of consenting age, with alcohol, vapes, and drugs in exchange for sexual acts.
