If you think America is the land of freedom then you are probably someone who has never had a stand different from the mainstream. Whenever there’s an issue that has divided the world over, the USA has managed to hold a very important say in the issue despite being the problem themselves a number of times. An Indian origin businesswoman in the USA got fired from her agency over her comments on the Israel-Palestine issue.
Saira Rao and Regina Jackson were represented by CAA for the dinner talk show they hosted battling racism. Saira and Regina have been vocal about the Israel-Palestine conflict and they called out the genocide being committed by the Israeli government on the Palestinians.
Their comments related to genocide became the reason they were dropped from being represented by the CAA. Saira and Regina rose to prominence and were in demand after the murder of George Floyd.
The two women hosted the most uncomfortable dinner shows where they invited white women for a fee and asked the toughest questions around racism, white supremacy and xenophobia.
By dropping their representation, America has shown exactly the same white supremacy that the two women highlight in their talk show that goes unnoticed. The US decides the laws of morality as and when it pleases them.
