The American dream is not within the reach of everyone. People from all across the world wait in anticipation for years hoping to get any sponsor who can employ them. The legal route to the USA might not allow everyone to experience the so-called freedom and opportunity that America brands itself for. So the question is how big a risk you’re ready to take and how much money you are willing to spend if you want to enter the US at any cost.
If you will ask the Indians taking the ‘donkey’ flight to Mexico then you’ll know that people are willing to spend millions of rupees to realize this dream of theirs. During an investigation by the CID, it has been revealed that agents took ₹60-70 lakhs from these people to smuggle them into the USA through Mexico.
A total of 66 passengers have revealed that they had paid the money to the agent and were going to illegally enter the USA. The flight was going to take them to Nicaragua from Dubai and from there the agents would have taken them to Mexico.
Nicaragua has one of the least stringent visa rules and that’s why human traffickers and smugglers use this country to conduct their business. The amount of money that the people spent for it is astounding. The same amount of money would’ve been enough for anyone to start a new life in India only.
