Another day, another tragic incident involving a student losing their life in the U.S.
This time, however, it appears to have been entirely the result of his own actions.

Panjala Neeraj Goud, a 23-year-old Telugu student from Connecticut, was involved in a fatal accident.
The incident occurred around midnight, at 2:20 a.m., when he lost control of his Hyundai Elantra on the highway and veered off into the Citco gas station. Neeraj’s car collided directly with a police cop car, resulting in severe injuries to the officer.

Both were admitted to the hospital, with the officer later released. However, due to his injuries, the officer will not return to duty anytime soon.
Unfortunately, Neeraj Goud lost his life in the accident.

Police reported that his speed was high at the time of the crash, and icy roads contributed to the incident. The accident happened around 2:20 a.m., making it a clear case of speeding that led to the tragic loss of his life.
His parents have been informed, and the body will be transported back to India soon. The Embassy of New York confirmed the incident, and the tragic news has deeply affected the Indian community in New Haven, Connecticut.
Consulate officials remain in contact with Neeraj’s family and are providing all possible assistance to ensure his body is returned to India.
