From January 2024, Kenya will become a Visa free country allowing people from all around the world to witness its heritage.

Kenya will be celebrating its 60 years of independence from Britain and this move comes in line with the celebration. The announcement came from the Kenyan president William Ruto on December 12.

The Kenyan government has developed a new digital platform for the entry of foreign nationals into the country. This will disseminate the visa process and instead an electronic travel authorization will be issued.

Tourism is one of the biggest industries in Kenya which is famous for its diverse culture and landscape. The move is going to boost the tourism industry attracting many more travelers.

President Ruto has always been an advocate for Visa free travel within African countries. This is a step forward in the direction suggesting the world to open its doors for people from all around the world.
