
A deadly road accident has left 15 workers dead, including 9 NRIs. One of them was the 32-year-old Kapeli Ramesh from Telangana’s Jagtial district.
The tragic incident took place in Saudi Arabia when the bus carrying the employees to their workplace collided with a trailer in Jizan.

Apart from the 15 deaths, 11 others, including two from Telangana, suffered injuries and are fighting for their lives in hospitals.
The Indian expatriate community is scrambling to identify victims and arrange the return of their mortal remains. While the authorities in Riyadh claim to be coordinating, the Indian embassy is surprisingly silent on the issue.
