Lufthansa has come under fire once again from a passenger who had a nightmare while boarding a flight from the US with his family.
Despite changing his flight, paying the fees, and getting confirmation from Lufthansa—on the phone and in person— on the day of their flight, a person alleges the airline suddenly said the booking didn’t exist.
The family boarding the flight from ATY, South Dakota to Munich, Germany, were left stunned. With just an hour before departure, Lufthansa allegedly forced them to pay over 570 euros again to get on the same flights.
To make matters worse, their reserved seats were changed, splitting the family apart. Even Lufthansa staff were confused and couldn’t explain this chaos.
The family has proof they never canceled through the emails, receipts, and call records. Now, they’re fighting for a refund and compensation for all the stress and extra money lost.
This is a shocking accusation on the German airlines with many netizens calling it an outright fraud. While Lufthansa hasn’t responded to these claims, if this is true they need to fix such issues and stop making passengers pay for their blunders.
