In January, we reported a tragic accident involving 23-year-old Jaahnavi Kandula, who was struck by a Seattle police patrol vehicle in South Lake Union. Sadly, she has now passed away, as confirmed by the Seattle Police Department at the accident spot itself.
Disturbingly, the police officer’s body cam footage captured his insensitive remarks following the collision.
He disgustingly said, “She’s just a regular person, write a check for $11,000; she was 26 anyway, had limited value.”
Furthermore, his awful laughter in the aftermath of such a horrific accident, which claimed the life of a 23-year-old student, is deeply distressing.
