In another way to break Indians in the US, the immigration services have started sending out parole revocation emails, giving some people just seven days to leave the country. The emails, sent from a DHS address, cite immigration laws and warn of possible legal action if people don’t comply immediately.
Many people are panicking, unsure if the message is real or even meant for them. One person said they got the email despite being a US citizen maybe because they work as an immigration lawyer and have used their email with USCIS.

Some claimed they received the notice while waiting for their Green Card. It gets more troublesome as people report they couldn’t reach USCIS to clarify since the emails were sent outside business hours.
The message includes threatening legal jargon but also a confusing line: “unless you have otherwise obtained a lawful basis to remain.” That hints that this could be a mass scare tactic, not a specific deportation order.

As people are also afraid this could be a scam, immigration attorneys confirmed the notices are real and going out in large numbers. They advice not to panic and don’t leave the country, just contact your lawyers.
What’s unfolding now feels less like law and more like chaos. With even US citizens caught in this mess, it’s hard to tell if this is a policy or just a way to burden immigrants.
