Green Card Denied

Imagine following every rule and responding on time, but still, your Green Card renewal gets denied. That’s exactly what happened to one woman whose application was rejected in a way that raises serious questions about how USCIS operates.

It started as a normal renewal process— she applied online and was told she’d get her renewed green card in 4 months. Then the timeline suddenly jumped to 14 months, then 24 but still she waited patiently and didn’t complain.

Then came a shocker when she received a letter from USCIS asking her to resubmit her entire application by mail. Even though she complied immediately, weeks later, she received another letter saying her fingerprints couldn’t be found in the system.

The woman’s son claims that this is often the case as she has always had faint fingerprints. USCIS asked her for additional documents and gave her 60 days to respond.

But it seems USCIS’ 60-day limit expires just after 48 hours because after two days the woman’s Green Card renewal was suddenly denied. The woman patiently responded to USCIS troubling her at every step only to get rejected in the end.

The USCIS system has become a joke now. The estimated time is never reliable, the warnings are not clear, and there is a serious lack of communication with the applicants.
