The as yet unnamed game will be a “cinematic adventure” that will allow users to see the backstory of the characters from a different angle. Netflix announced that the game would be streamable on Netflix, PCs and Macs.
Netflix has been exploring interactive content for some time, like Bandersnatch, You vs. Wild, and Stranger Things 3: The Game. However, this is the first time that the company is developing a high-budget and high-quality game that can compare to other PC games.
Netflix’s move into PC gaming is part of a bigger plan to expand its offerings and acquire more subscribers.
