The bundle culture in the recent OTT world is overtaking the market, with more competitors collaborating. This time, Apple TV and Paramount find themselves in the same war.
Over time, Paramount has established itself as one of the elite distributors. Apple TV is emerging as one of the most promising names, especially with its sports wing and recent content streaming, showcasing its potential.
Amidst the price hikes of all OTT platforms, the bundle deal is precisely what fans will ask for.
Paramount Global’s shares increased in premarket trading following talks with Apple about a bundled subscription for Paramount+ and AppleTV+. The potential bundle aims for a cost-effective option, considering Paramount+’s ad-free tier at $11.99 and a possible price hike, while AppleTV+ is priced at $9.99.
However, in the bundled market, they won’t be alone, as competitors like Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ are still attempting to crack the market. Max is also looking for a better half to fight the battle.
Though as of now, both companies have refrained from commenting on the speculations, The Wall Street Journal reports that it is nothing but a matter of time.
